Singapore Festival of Football driven by CDG ZIG heats up with meet & greets, an interactive fan zone and whole lot of football fun.

SINGAPORE, 26 JUNE 2023 – With only 30 days until the highly-anticipated Singapore Festival of Football Driven by CDG Zig kicks off at the Singapore Sports Hub, this football fiesta is set to heat up even more. With three exciting matches and two open training sessions, organisers have also unveiled a host of activities for a week of non-stop fun, including once-in-a-lifetime opportunities to get up close with some of European football’s biggest stars.

Football legends from all five clubs – Tottenham Hotspur, AS Roma, Liverpool FC, Leicester City FC and FC Bayern Munich will take part in a variety of fan interactions from 25 July to 2 August.

Premier League giants Liverpool FC will have a star-studded presence, including Lucas Leiva and Martin Skrtel who will visit Singapore with the club for the first time, while Spurs hero Ledley King and Leicester City stars Emile Heskey and Wes Morgan are also set to be a part of the festival of football alongside the other legends.

At the National Stadium, the Tiger Cup: Tottenham Hotspur vs AS Roma on 26 July kicks off an action-packed week of world-class football. Liverpool FC will defend their Standard Chartered Singapore Trophy against Leicester City FC on 30 July before they take on Bundesliga champions FC Bayern Munich in the Singapore Trophy, presented by Audi and Standard Chartered, on 2 August. Spurs and LFC will also hold open training sessions at the National Stadium on 25 July and 29 July respectively. As a long-time partner of Tottenham Hotspur, AIA Singapore looks forward to welcoming and cheering the team on in Singapore.

Off the pitch, fans are encouraged to attend the Football Interactive Fanzone, which will be open on match days, Spurs’ and Liverpool’s open training days, and 1 Aug prior to the Liverpool FC and FC Bayern Munich game.

Fans will get the chance to meet club legends, giving them a once-in-a-lifetime moment with their football heroes. There will be photobooths, giveaways and performances, along with Q&A sessions with club legends. Fans can also meet the team mascots including Tottenham’s Chirpy and Lily, Mighty Red of Liverpool and FC Bayern’s Berni.
